The Patriot (Greensboro, N. C.)   Tues., April 26, 1842
   DIED, in Greensboro on Sunday night after a sudden and severe illness, aged 
52 years, MR. JOHN MARTIN , a native of Rockingham County, N. C.,  but for the 
last 20 years a resident of this State [Georgia] and for seven years a highly 
respected and well known inhabitant of this City.—(Reprinted from Macon
