Wed., Oct. 24, 1832
DIED, at his residence in Rockingham County on the 8th ult., MR. JOHN 
MOREHEAD, SR., a worthy and pious man, and a soldier of the Revolution. MR. 
MOREHEAD was the father of a large family, whom he had assiduously endeavored 
to prepare for their course in life with moral and literary instruction and 
had the dying satisfaction to witness the eminent success of this preparation.
