Published in "The Madison Messenger" 30 Sept. 1987 Mrs. Ollie Reid Mayodan - Mrs. Ollie Smith Reid, 71, of Route 1 died Friday at Morehead Nursing Center in Eden. Funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Beaver Island Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial was in Ayersville Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Reid was a Rockingham County native. Survivors are daughter, Mrs. Deborah Farmer of Route 1; stepson Franklin Reid of Route 1; brothers, Charlie Smith of Martinsville, Va., John H. Smith and J. Arthur Smith of Stoneville; sisters, Mrs. Katie Sparks of Stoneville, Mrs. Gladys Hopkins of Eden; one grand- child; one stepgrandchild.
