WILL OF JAMES KIRK, Rockingham County, NC Dated 4 Aug. 1801 Rockingham Book 57 Unfortunately, the first page is completely unreadable. *page 2 Item I give and Bequeath unto my wife Mary Kirk all land whereon I now live together with all my stock bought and citchen (kitchen) furniture. Enduring of her widowhood and if it be so that she marry again. Then the above mentioned property is to be divided equally among all my children. The one the she is now with to share Equally also. And I do hereby substitute or ordain these my trusty friends Jeremiah Green and Alexander Russel to be my Executors. That this my will may be truly observed according to law.
