ROBERTSON 24 JULY 1894 WILL BOOK E, PG 583 - Rockingham Co., NC I, William W. Robertson, of the County of Rockingham and State aforesaid being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my last will and testament, in manner and form following that is to say: First, that my Executrix and Executors hereinafter named shall provide for my body a decent burial, and pay all funeral expenses, together with my just debts, howsoever and to whomsoever owing, out of the moneys that may first come into his hands as a part of or parcel of my estate. Second, I give and device to my beloved wife, MARTHA ROBERTSON, all my personal property of every description. Third, after paying off the mortgage on my land, I wish my said wife, Martha Robertson, to have her dower allotted in the home place. Fourth, The remainder of my real estate, I wish divided equally share and share alike among my several children. Fifth, I give and bequeath absolutely and in fee simple the above mentioned dower in my said real estate to my said wife, Martha Robertson. Sixth, I do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife, Martha Robertson, and my son-in-law, James McAlister, my lawful executrix and executor to all intents and pruposes, to execute this my last will and testament, according to the true intent and meaning of the same, and every part and clause thereof, hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
