Wright of the County of Rockingham and State of North Carolina being of a perfect and sound mind and memory blessed be God do this twelth day of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fourty Three make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say first. I do give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Wright all the ...?...of the money arising from the sales of my land and negro woman Dieca(?) and all of the balance of my perisable property and as I shall despose of hereafter and all the money arising therefrom after paying all my just debts and settling the expense of my Estatae that my wife have the balance. I do give and allow my wife the priviledge of keeping as much of the stock as she may want or think proper to keep and also as much of the furniture in the house and kitchen as she wants and as many of the farming tools also. Secondly, I do give and bequeath unto the unborn embryo of my wife two negros Sam and Alexander...?... Thirdly, Should my now unborn heir (?) not live to be raised up to the age of twenty one years of age it is my will that the property belonging to it be equally divided between my wife and all my brothers and sisters. Should it so happen that my wife should die unmarried it is my will that the property and money that I give her all go to my legal Heir(?) and in case they both die I allow it all equally divided among all my Bothers and Sisters each one to share alike.
