I Martin Wright of the county of Rockingham and State of North Carolina being of perfect sound (?) mind and disposing memory. (?) to God do on this 17th day of December 1832 make and ordain this my last will and Testament in the following manner. That is to say, First I do give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Wright so much of the crop, stock and provisions which may be on hand at my decease and(?) be necessary for the support of herself and family for one year. I do also give her one waggon and gear such as may be on hand at my decease or as case more be on hand a common thredd(?) of four horse waggon my which farm three head of horsebeast out of my stock thereover choice ten head of cattle, ten head of sheep and twenty head of hogs all of her own selection from my stock of such likeness the use and benefit of all the land and premises on and adjoining(?) that wherein I now live except that which lies west and north west of the old bed of Benajah (?) and as many farming utentials as she may see cause to retain together with as much of household and Kitchen furniture as she may deem necessary to buy(?). Also the use and interest of Nat(?) tract of land lying in Guilford County upon which Richard Estes now lives containing about five hundred and fifty acres also my negro woman Hannah Lelah Hohary(?) and my negro fellow John Hoy Gammons(?) all of which propertus as above names (?) is my will and desire that she have .........?........rural life or widowhood with the exception of any .......?......which is on the premisis equal this (?). ...?...having given my daughter Lutha (?) Martin a negro girl named Charlotte and other property and to my Daughter Nancy C Webb, a negro girl Eliza and other property...?...by myself at $275 to each daughter I am now...?... give and bequeath unto my daughter May R. Should I not ...?...to settle my son Bazellia(?) G Wright upon land which I may hereafter purchase for him. Wright and Martin P Wright all the land bequeathed to my wife lying in Rockingham County to be divided between them equally at the death or marriage of their mother with my mill which is on the said premisis which mill is to be rented out at public auction until my son David Wright comes to the age of 21 years.
