(Richardson) Sally Ann Richardson Hiram Wright Nathan Wright Sarah Wright NATHAN WRIGHT I, Nathan Wright, of the County of Rockingham and State of North Carolina well knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do make and desire this paper writing , it being in my own hand written to by my last will and testament as follows that is to say. I wish at my death to be put away at my buring ground at the right hand of my Father and all reasonable expenses and no extras put on at my burial but a good set of head and foot stones placed there with appropriate inscriptions as to age (?) and that to be paid first. I next wish all my just debts paid, if any. I give my wife, Sarah Wright, the 1 third of my Estate during life or widowhood and at her death to be equally divided between my three grand children to wit, Sally Ann Richardson, Mary Elizabeth R. and Issabella Richardson and for the three grand daughters to have a proper Guardian appointed and their Estate kept at interest until grown. As to the other 3/4 of my Estate, I also give to my Grand daughters above named with this one exception, that is to say I wish the Eldest Grand daughter to have one thousand dollars out of the 4th item and the the ballance to be divided equally between the three above named grand children, Given under my hand the 24th September, 1849 Nathan Wright The last will and testament of Nathan Wright deceased, was produced in open court proved to have been found after his death among his valuable papers and effects by the oath of Sarah Wright and Hiram Wright also proved by the oathes of ...?... Hancock all of said will each and every part thereof is in the proper hand writing of Said Nathan Wright whereupon the Court declared the said paper writing to be and ...?...the last will and testament of the said Nathan Wright, deceased, duly excuted to pass both real and personal Estate and ordered the same to be recorded
