Surname: Kepley, Keple, Kepple, Keppel

The following were drawn from Baptism Record of Organ Lutheran 
Church Rowan County North Carolina 1788 - 1882 which can be found in the 
Cabarrus County NC Public Library family history collection with reference 
number "R NC LOCAL HIST. 284.131 Q"

The manuscript is in long hand transcribed from the Church's original 
records. I was only looking for KEPLEY births and var. spellings. This was 
a glancing review and not a full study of the text so some records may have 
been missed. Note that this finding is unique and contradicts what some 
researchers of the family have reported.

I reviewed the file through the 1830's and noted no others. It was 
manuscript though and hard to read. On December 30, 2000I visited the 
cemetery of this church and noted no KEPLE (+var) graves. It was a rather 
quick visit though. Would love to make contact with anyone who has further 
information on any of these folks.
