It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, JOHN JACOBS 
is not an inhabitantof this State: It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for three weeks in the Raleigh Minerva, that unless the 
said defendants, appear at our next Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions to be 
held for the County of Rowan in the Court House at Salisbury on the 3nd Monday 
in November next and enter their plea, answer, or demur to the Complainants 
petition, judgment will be taken according to the Plaintiff's demand
Test.
