PETER OWENS
    vs.
ELIZABETH OWENS

Petition for Divorce

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, ELIZABETH 
OWENS, is not an inhabitant of this State, it is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publcation be made for three months in the Charlotte Journal 
notifying the said defendant to be and appear at our next Superior Court of 
Law to be held for Rowan County at the Court House in Salisbury on the 4th 
Monday after the 3rd Monday in August next, then and there to plead, answer or 
demur to this petition filed, or judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard 
ex parte as to her. Witness JUNIUS SNEED, Clerk of the said Court at office on 
the 3rd Monday in February, A. D., 1841.
