Submitted by: Jacque Otts JacqueOtts@aol.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deed Book D, page 199-200, Bibb Co., AL The State of Alabama Bibb County Know all men by these presents that I, Isaac PARKER, of the county and state aforesaid do hereby constitute and appoint Morgan HOWARD my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name to do without any limitation qualification or restrictions whatsoever any and every legal act required or necessary for me to do in the county of Rowan and state of North Carolina touching or concerning any matter of which I am legally interested or concerned in and particularly the final settlement of the estate of Isaac Parker decd of which estate I am guardian for Willbourn Parker, Nancy Parker, Polly Parker (now intermarried with Lewis Smith) and also to sell and dispose of my real estate in said county and to make and deliver a deed or deeds of conveyance to the purchaser for the same to receive pay for the same and to do all other lawful acts touching or concerning the same as freely as I could do myself were I personally present and I do hereby ratify and confirm all and every act which my said attorney may do or cause to be done in the premises aforesaid as fully as if done by me in proper person. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23rd day of January 1836.
