Being state grant #562 to this grantor dated 1 Oct 1783; and (3)126 A adjthis Grantor, Nicholass Shooping and William Davey which was state grant #1529 to this Grantor dated 9 Aug 1787. Including "all instruments and tools now used at and handled or belonging to the said grist mill". Provided the following conditions are met by this Grantee:(1)That he will not sell, exchange, rent, or mortgage any of the above property during the life of his father without the consent of his father(2)To keep the mill and buildings in repair and not distroy any woods or timber(3)To deliver his father half of all the mulder and incomes of the mill weekly and every week, monthly and every month, yearly and every year during the life of his father(4)That he (or his heirs in the event that his father should survive him)shall in a most gentle way and and manner supply his father all lifely necessities of eating, drinkings, washings, firewoods, and in sickness with a doctor of phisic or medicine, and supply a minister of the gospel when desired "according to said Old Peter Eddlemans Religion"(5)To maintain his father so that no just complaints may have place without charge of the same(6)To reserve for the use of his father during his lifetime the grass of the pasture in that piece of the meadow close to the mill and also the upper part of the upper meadow by the dwelling house from the baking hove[?]right over against the white oak tree (7)To reserve for his father full half part of all the tree fruits of apples and peaches, half part of the kitchen gardens and of all fowls on the premises and the eggs of it;(8)To allow his father the use of complete stables for two horses and two cows with straw for beddings and pasture in summer;(9)To keep hogs on the premises and keep good stables for them(10)To allow his father the use of the field on the Main Road(11)That he or his heirs will make the hay, plow the land and maintain the fences without charge(12)To reserve for his father without charge the ample and free liberty of using the dwelling house and all other buildings as circumstances require; and (13)To allow his father free uninterrupted right of ingree, egree, and regress upon all or any part of the premises.
