William Ellis to the sd. Henry McCulloch; the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and also for & in Consid3eration of the Rents, Covenants, Proviso’s & Agreements herein after mentioned to be done & performed by & on the part of the sd. William Ellis his Heirs & Assigns, the sd. Henry McCulloch hath for himself and his Heirs, given, granted, Bargained, sold & confirmed, and by these presents, Doth give, grant, Bargain, sell & confirm unto the sd. William Ellis, his Heirs & Assigns, forever, all that Piece or Parcel of Land lying & Being in the County of Rowan in the Province of North Carolina in ________, being part of the afrsd. Hundred Thousand Acres of Land commonly called or _________ by the Name of the Tract No. Ten; Beginning at a W.O. in the Boundary line of the Great Tract, ___________ thence West at 120p. a White Oak formerly marked for a _________ in all 130b. to a stake, thence North 260p. to a stake, thence East at about 60 p. crossing Carway Creek, in all 130 p. to a stake on the Boundary _______ _______, South along the same at 20p. a W.O. formerly marked for a Corner at about 90 p. crossing Carway Creek again, in all 260 p. to the Beginning…. _____ Containing in the whole Two Hundred and Eleven acres of Land, all which premises are more particularly described & set forth in the plan or Map thereof hereunto ________, with all Rights & Privileges of Hunting & Hawking, Fishing & Fowling, with all Wood, Waters & Rivers, with all Profits, Commodities or other rewards to the same Belonging or appertaining. To Have & Hold, to him the said William Ellis, his Heirs and assigns forever, except that in case any Mines shall be found upon the sd. Lands, One Half of all gold or silver ore, and of all other Mines or Minerals whatsoever, be ______ for the use of the sd. Henry McCulloch, his Heirs & assigns, And the sd. William Ellis for himself his Heirs & assigns and for each and every of these, Doth hereby Covenant, promise & Agree, to & with the said Henry McCulloch, his Heirs & Assigns, ____ _______ the afrsd. Deed No. 1 to th End. Be it Remembered that by virture of a Letter of attorney and or the Hand & seal of the sd. Henry McCulloch, Henry Eustace MCCulloch Esqr. Did in the Name of the sd.
