James Patterson (1699-1815) –Emeline (McCorkle) Patterson (1718-after 1814)

The following from Deed Book 13, p. 1711, 23 April 1794, Rowan County, NC:  

Milley (X) Patterson {Emeline?} and Andrew Merrell, as adms of James 
Patterson, dec'd, to Phillip Peck Jr., 200A which was bonded to William Elliot 
by James Patterson when living; the said obligatory bond has now been 
purchased by Phillip Peck Jr.  The land is on Swan Crk adj Isaac Freeman, 
James Patterson, and John Andrews, and was a State grant to James Patterson on 
18 May 1789 [122:199].  
Wit:  Charles F. Mabins.  Prvd by Mabins at Aug Ct, 1794.
