DESERTERS: $30 Reward
SALISBURY RENDEZVOUS, Nov. 14, 1808 – 
    Deserted, Thursday night last, GEORGE EARNEST, a private of my company, 
born in Rowan County, N. C.; 20 years, five feet eight inches high, dark 
complexion, black eyes, black hair and by occupation a blacksmith.
    And MOSES MOORE, a private, born in Martin County, N. C., aged 35 years, 
five feet seven inches high, dark complexion, dark eyes, dark hair, and by 
occupation a laborer.
    Any person who will apprehend them, or either of them, will receive $15 
for each or either of them, if delivered to me at this place – or $10 for each 
or either of them delivered to any officer of the United States Army, or 
secured in gaol so that I can get them.
