J. A. PEARSON, was detached and organized, and a complete Muster Roll – forwarded to the Brigadier General and within 20 days the Colonel received his orders. The detachment consists of a Company of Infantry, 10 Riflemen. We had the pleasure to see the Company of Infantry paraded on the muster ground on the 4th of July, when they were exercised by the officers appointed to command them. We likewise learn that the quota required from the 2nd Regiment of Rowan, commanded by COL. WILLIAM BODENHAMER and MAJORS YARBOROUGH and Goss have volunteered for the command of the Regiment to be detached from the seventh and eleventh Brigades.
