ALEXANDER, ESQ., formerly of Salisbury, fell from the third story of his boarding house in Mobile, Ala., on the night of the 24th ult, and was so much bruised that he died a few hours afterward. It is impossible to ascertain how the accident occurred, but it is presumed that he was sitting in the window and accidentally fell asleep. A private letter states that the window sill exhibited marks of great effort to save himself. He has left many friends and relatives to mourn is loss.
