DIED, at Spring Hill, his seat near Salisbury, on the evening of the 9th 
instant of a short, but painful, disease, MAXWELL CHAMBERS, ESQ. in the 67th 
year of his age. He was a native of Pennsylvania and settled at Salisbury in 
the year 1764, where he married, and spent the remainder of his life, nearly 
45 years, in all which time he supported an unsullied and dignified character.
