Bryant and Elizabeth Meroney Bryant was born September 27, 1884 in Salisbury, NC, and died June 20, 1959 in Trinty, NC- Buried @ Oakdale Cementary-Salisbury, NC. She married FISHER ROBERT MASON January 01, 1902 in salisbury, NC, son of CALDWELL MASON and LUCINDA BURREL. Fannie Bryant Mason attended the public schools of Salisbury, and was a graduate from Barber Scotia College of Concord, N.C. She taught in the public schools of Rowan County, Statesville, and Greensboro, N.C. for a number of years. She was married to Rev. Fisher R. Mason in 1902. For 57 years they lived happily together, working in the church and communities of his pastorage. At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. Her life was spent in working for the church. From 1902 until 1929 she was actively connected in the Mt. Zion Baptist Chruch of Salisbury, N.C., later associating herself with her husband in the work of the First Baptist Church and Tempe Memorial Churches of High Point, N.C. Fannie departed this life at her resident "Evening Breeze" in Trinty, N.C. At the time of her death, she was president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Rowan Baptist Association and President of the Women's Missionary Society of Temple Memorial Baptist Chruch.
