Nannie B. Harrison
SALISBURY - Nannie Mae Barringer Harrison, age 87, of Salisbury, passed away 
June 2, 2010, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
   Born Nov. 23, 1922, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late 
Columbus Ford Barringer and Effie Mae Eddleman Barringer. She was our keeper of 
light and a devoted, loving mother to her family.
   Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Arlie Worth Harrison, who 
died April 19, 1975; a daughter, Angela Worth Harrison, who died in 1958; 
brothers Luke, John, Clyde and Bill Barringer; and a sister, Mary Cauble.
   Survivors include daughters Norma Ludwig (Robert M.) of Salisbury, Marilyn 
Harrison of Badin Lake; sisters Maude Elizabeth Graham of Salisbury; four 
grandchildren, Mark Ludwig (Renee) of Belmont, David Ludwig, Nicholas Sheets 
(Sara) of Rock Hill, Adrien Harrison Cournoyer of Salisbury; four great-
grandchildren, Megan, Marlin, Maddie and Michael Ludwig.
   The family is forever grateful for the kindness and compassion extended to 
Nannie Mae, by her physician and staff of Rowan Regional Medical Center.
   Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Monday, June 7 at Historic National Cemetery, 202 
Government Road, Salisbury. The Rev. Howard Baker of St. Michael's Lutheran 
Church in Tyro will officiate. 
   Memorials: Rowan Regional Hospice "Hospice House," 720 Grove St., Salisbury, 
NC 28144.

Additional Comments:
Maude was the last child of Columbus Ford & Effie Mae (Eddleman) Barringer to 
pass away.
