Holder, 90, of 1817 Sumter street, for the past 23 years a resident of Co Columbia, died at 6:30 a. m. yesterday at his home. Mr. Holder was born in Salisbury, N. C., and prior to living here conducted a a blacksmith shop and funeral parlor establishment at Blackstock. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dora (Boyd) Holder; two daughters, Mrs. Omerle Clark of Little Mountain and Mrs. Jack Summers of 1817 Sumter street; two brothers, R. L. Holder of Farmersville, Texas, and R. A. Holder of Brooklyn, N. Y.; three sisters, Mrs. C. C. Heilig of Salisbury, N. C.; Mrs. Minnie Sides of Statesville; and Mrs. Thomas Horton of Mt. Ulla, N. C., one grand-daughter and two great grandchildren. Mr. Holder had been a Mason for the past 60 years. Funeral services will be held at the Dunbar funeral home at 2 p. m. Sunday. Th The Rev. Walter K. Beaty, pastor of Arsenal Presbyterian church will officiate. In Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial park. Active pallbearers will be E. H. Miller, W. P. Stradley, R. C. Cooper, O. L. U Ussery, J. B. Ratteree and Fred Kaylor. The elders of Arsenal Presbyterian church are honorary pallbearers.
