Friday, April 23, 1813
DIED, at his plantation near Salisbury, on the 26th January last, JOHN KELLY, 
ESQ., one of the Directors of that Branch of the State Bank, aged 44 years. He 
was a native of Scotland, born near Dunfries, but for many years an American 
citizen. The urbanity of his manners, had greatly endeared him to his friends 
and acquaintance. His death is a loss deeply felt by an amiable and 
affectionate family.
