Joseph Lingle, age 34, former student at the Theological Seminary in York, PA,
died at the residence of his brother-in-law Mr. Fisher in Rowan Co NC on 02 Jan
1837, his health was impaired by consumption and  he had returned to his parents
after three years of study; notice published 05 Apr 1837.

German Reformed Church 1830-1839”, by Barbara Manning; extracts from the
newspaper The Weekly Messenger of the German Reformed Church, published in
Chambersburg, PA. “Notice” refers to the date of publication in The Weekly
Messenger of the German Reformed Church.  Added information by this submitter is
in brackets [  ].
