Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die I do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament. That is to say Principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the Hand of God Almighty that gave it and my Body I commend to the Earth to be Buried in a decent Christian Burial at the direction of my Executor herein After named nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall [--] the same again by the mighty Power of God and Touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to Bless me in this Life I give remand and dispose of in the following manner and form. First I give and bequeath unto my Loving Brother William Frohock as follows, Viz. The Tract of Land whereon he now lives call'd Carter's Place my Tract of Land whereon I now have a Negroe Quarter called Drake's Place a tract of Land on the waters of Tarr River which I bought from Edward Hugh Originally deeded to Hugh Foster, All that Tract or Parcell of Land lying in the Forks of Yadkin with the Grist mills and Saw Mill thereon & every article thereunto belonging. One Tract of Land lying on the North side of Tarr River Containing Four Hundred Acres known by the name of Bails Place. Also Two Hundred acres of Land Joining the same down the River called the Old Plantation or Pattersons Place. Also Two Hundred and Fifty Acres of Land with the Mill and everything thereunto belonging on Woolf pitt Crick, Also One Lot of Land in the Town of Halifax belonging to me near the Court House. Also the following Negroes [to wit] Tom, Bungy, AnnaLee, her daughter Bett, Vilett, Tony, Rose, Nell, Amy, Bob, Bett [Huntoo?] Suck that I bought of Magoune, Patt, Vinen, [--], Roger, Indi, to him His Heirs and Assigns forever. Also, I give and bequeath to Dearly and well loved Brother Thomas Frohock as follows [to wit] All That Tract of Land I bought of Col. Alexander McCulloh Lying on Grants Creek Containing acres together with my Grist & Saw Mills Also a Tract of Land joining. The Town land joining. The Town land of Salisbury called Thayer's Place, My house in the Town of Salisbury. and all the Furniture thereunto belonging together with all my other lotts and land in the said Town and Town Common. Also One Tract of Land lying on the South Side of Tar river called the Wallnut Point. Also one other Tract of Land lying on the South side of Tarr River whereon my Unckle Robert Parker formerly lived. Also one other Tract of Land on Taylor Creek whereon the Mill was. Also one other Tract of land on Billy's Creek known by the name of the Mulbry Great Low Grounds. Also one other Tract of land lying on the Waters of Second Crick which I bought of George Magoune. Also one other other Tract of Land bought of James Andrews lying at the mouth of Second crick. Also my Right to Morby Place. Also one other Tract of Land lying up Yadkin River which I bought of Frances Locke. Also the following Negroes to wit, Sharper [--], Mary Ann, Bett, Billy, Sharper [--] Jack, Absolom, George, Dick, Sarah, Till, Poll, Suck, Abraham, Pegg, Sam [--] Darcy, Dinah, Frank, Peter, Sall, with all my Plantation Tools Stock of Horses Cattle and Hoggs belonging to the Mill Plantation on Grants Crick [--] to him his Heirs and Assigns for ever. Also I give and bequeath to my Dearly Beloved Aunt Mary McManus, Two hundred pounds [--] money. Also I give and Bequeath to Miss Mary McCulloh daughter to my Worthy and Good Friend The Honourable Alexander McCulloh One Hundred Pounds [--] to be given her inb Gold and Silver. Also I give and bequeath unto Mrs. Hamilton and my Will is that My Two Brothers pay her the sum of Ten pounds a year during her natural life. Out of the profits of my estate so list them That is to Say William Frohock to pay her Five pounds on the first day of January in each year and Thomas Frohock to pay her the other five pounds on the first day of June in Each Year so long as she lives. My Will is that all my Just Debts be immediately paid Out of the Money now in the House and all the legacys out of the same to be paid on Sight. My Will is that my Brothers be as favourable to the poor people indebted to me as possible so as not to Sue them if they can gett their money in any time without, but to give them Indulgence if they are not Doubtful of loosing it for want of suing for the Same. And as to the Rest of my Lands lying in Virginia, Carolina and Elsewhere together with all my Horses Cattle Hoggs Negroes and all the rest and residue of my Estate Both Real and Personally of every kind whatsoever I give and bequeath to my said two Brothers to be divided share and share alike as they can agree between themselves or they may sell the Land and divide the money arising from such Sale between themselves as they think proper. My Will is that my Brothers give my Trusty and Good Boy Absolom [a waiting man] his liberty or Freedom immediately and that put him to School One Year and let him have his bord and clothing with them during the said Term and at the Expiration of the Year give him a good Suit of cloths and Ten Pounds in Money in Testimony for his Honesty and Fidelity to by Interest & Service. And lastly, I do hereby Constitute Make Revise and Appoint my two Dearly beloved Brothers my Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow [--] disannull all and every other former Testaments, Wills, Figures, Bequests & Executors by me in any wise before named Willed and Bequeathed satisfying and Confirming this and no Other to be my Last Will and Testament.
