Will Book H p. 323 November Sessions 1825 In the name of God amen, I, Elizabeth Frost of the county of Rowan and state of North Carolina being weak in body but strong in mind and memory and knowing that all persons must once die, do this seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty five doth hereby make publish and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows: First I give my soul to God from whence it came and wish to be decently buried in a Christian like manner at the expense of my Estate. Second, as to such estate that I die seized and possessed of I Will and bequeath as follows.. that is to say, To my beloved son Isaac N. Frost I Give one bay mare named Fly. One bed and furniture, and all the rest of my household and kitchen furniture (One chest and one bed and furniture excepted. Also one negro boy named Simon, but he my son must pay to James Frost and Samuel Frost each one hundred dollars. To my beloved daughter Amey Frost I give a young Iron Grey horse named Gray. All the remaining part of my property including the Chest and one bed and furniture to be sold at public sale and equally divided among my children- namely my son William, Willson, Jonathan, Samuel, James, Isaac N. Frost, Elizabeth Van Cleave, Rachel Holeman, Sally Garwood, Abigal Mervill, and Amey Frost. And I hereby appoint my two sons James Frost and Isaac N. Frost sole Executors to this my last will & testament, revoking all former Wills by me made or assigned, and establish this alone - In Witness whereof I have set hand and seal as first above written.
