Will of Nancy Agnes Graham Gillespie, 1837, Rowan Co. NC From: Ray and Claudia This is the wife of Richard Gillespie. She was born about 1784 and died January 20, 1837 in Rowan Co. N.C.Eighth: I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Cathey, my large stone jar, also my sewing basket and my book title, The Saints' Everlasting Rest; Baxter. Ninth: I give and bequeath to my daughter Pamela Flora, my bedstead and furniture which stands upstairs. All the residue and remainder of my property not hereon bequeathed to be sold and equally divided, all my children. Lastly, I make and ordain my sons Joseph G. Gillespie and James A. Gillespie, executors of this my last will and testament, in witness thereof I the said Nancy Gillespie have to this my will and testament, set my hand and seal, the day and year above written. Signed, sealed, published and declared to be the last will and testament of Nancy Gillespie, in the presence of who were present at the signing thereof.
