Son John Brandon to pay brother Jack Brandon £25 for exchange of negroes & take out £110 already recd. Dau. Annes to have remainder of my land and negroes Andres, Jim, and Sarah. Dau. Mary to have 217 A adj John Reed and Samuel Cooper, a negro boy Sam and negro woman Hannah, a walnut chest, 2 beds & their furniture when she moves from the family. Dau. Christeana Brandon, wife of John Brandon to have female negro slaves Mary and Tilley and £158. Dau. Elenor Dickey to have £100. Dau. Alice Cathey to have £100. Dau. Jean Brandon to have 3 negroes Nancy, Dave, and Elsey. Grandson John Dickey to have a negro boy Romey. Grandson John Hagin Brandon to have a negro boy Adam. My pewter to be divided equally among my 3 daus. Mary, Jean, and Annes. No Exrs. Wit: Saml McCulloch, Peter Albright. [Ed note: Buried at Thyatira Churchyard are John Hagin, b. 1722, d. 6 Mar. 1816, ages 94 and Jean Hagin, d. 29 Dec. 1776 aged 63 and Christian Hagan d. 19 Oct. 1821 age 76. On 20 May 1816 the will of John Hagins was proved by Samuel McCulloh and administration granted to Christean Hagins C. T.A. (with the will annexed) who have £3,000 bond with John Brandon and Samuel McCulloh securities. An inventory was filed 23 Aug. 1816. At Nov. Court 1821 administration on the estate of Christiana Hagins was granted William King who gave bond of £1,000 with John Brandon and James McConnaughey securities. Buried at Back Creek Presbyterian Church four miles from Thyatira are William King, d. 21 Jan. 1869 aged 83 and his wife Annis, d. 7 June 1864 aged 78.
