First, I recommend my soul unto god who gave it and my body to the earth, to be buried in a descent Christian like manner, at the discretion of my friends who survive, me And as touching such worldly estate, as it hath pleased go to bless me with, I demise, and dispose of the same in the following manner. ITEM, I lend unto my beloved wife, all my land, and plantation whereon I now live; west of my now standing lane by my door; except my Mill, and the west end of my land, which is in the following bounds, Beginning on Samuel Beemans line, and running south so as to leave the Sandy ford on Dutchman Creek two chains east, to my south line. ALSO, I lend unto my beloved wife, all my farming tools, stock of every kind, together with all my houshold furniture, Still, and every article there unto belonging. ALSO, I lend her all my Negroes except my small Girl violet, all the aforementioned articles I lend to her during her Natural life. ALSO, I give unto my beloved wife, all my grain which is growing, or on hand, to her and her heirs forever. ITEM, At my wifes death, I give and bequeath to my son James Beeman, two hundred and twenty five Dollars, to him and his heirs forever. ITEM, At my wifes death, I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Moore, two hundred and twenty five dollars, to her and her heirs forever. ITEM, At my death, I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Beeman, thirty acres of land, adjoining him, off of a tract of Mine containing two hundred acres, said thirty acres to be laid off of the south side of said land, to him and his heirs forever. ITEM, At my death, I give and bequeath to my son Joseph Beeman, all that part of the tract of land, whereon I now live, east of my now standing lane, and at my wifes death, all the residue which I have lent to her of said land, to him and his heirs forever. ITEM, At my death, I give and bequeath, unto my Grandaughter Polly Beeman, daughter of Joseph Beeman, my small Negro Girl Violet; to her and her heirs forever. MY WILL is that after my death, all my lands and property which is not here already willed away, should be sold at public auction by my Exrs., and the money arising therefrom, after all my Just debts are paid, to be equally divided between my beloved wife, and all my children, Namely, Elizabeth, James, Mary, Nancy, Charles, William, Thomas, Samuel & Joseph. MY WILL IS, At my wifes death, that all the property that I have loaned her, which shall be on hand at her death, shall be sold by my Exrs. and the money arising therefrom, equally divided Among my Children, as named above. LASTLY, I nominate and appoint my friends James Holeman and Ransom Powell, soul Executors; to this my last will and testament: hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
