In the name of God, Amen, I George Mabry being in good health, praise God, & of
a sound and perfect sense of memory, praise God for it, do appoint this my Last
Will and Testament.

Item – I leave unto my beloved wife Martha and to her use during her life or
widowhood all my household goods with three feather beds and with their
furniture and my stock of horses and mares and all my cattle and all my hogs and
further my will is that I leave unto my beloved wife during her life or
widowhood seven Negroes to wit Cussac and Chanesworth and Fidillor, a negro
minor Esia and Sam and Little Chanes and Sall a Negro girl as further my will is
that after my wife’s decease or if she should marry or which shall happen first.

Item – I give unto my beloved son John Mabry a Negro fellow named Andy
Chanceworth to him and his heirs forever.  

Item – I give unto my beloved son Isaac Mabry a Negro fellow named Old Cussa and
Sam a Negro boy to him and his heirs forever.  

Item – I give unto my beloved son James Mabry a Negro boy and Little Chanes and
Sall a Negro girl to him and his heirs forever.  And my will is that my son
James Mabry is to take care of my beloved daughter Lusa during her life as she
is not able to take care of herself.  And my will is further as after my wife’
decease or the day of her marriage which shall happen first that all my
household goods two feather beds and furniture and all my stock of horses and
mares and cattle and hogs to be sold by my son James Mabry & out of the money
received my son James is to pay all my just debts out of that money raised and
the over-plus to be equally divided amongst my daughters Susannah Jackson and
Ruttha Carter and Sarah Williams and Martha Worso(?) and Francis Ellis.  Witness
my hand & seal this fifteenth day of December 1770.  My will is further that I
give unto my daughter Lusa Mabry her featherbed & that to be in the care of my
son James Mabry.  Witness my hand and seal.
