Will of Isaac Rich Rowan Co., NC Will Book D, pages 107-108 In the name of God amen I Isaac Rich of the County of Rowan & State of North Carolina being weak in body but of perfect mind & memory & knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do constitute this my last will & testament Viz First I give & recomend my soul to the care of almighty God who gave it next my body to be decently interred at the discretion of the executors of this my last will to be hereafter named - and my worldly goods in form & manner following. First I give & bequeath to Margret my dearly beloved wife whom I likewise constitute make & ordain the sole executor of this my last will & testament, The plantation I now live on containing one hundred & five acres by her freely to be possessed and enjoyed. Also I give to my well beloved son John Rich one hundred acres of land being part of my fathers tract. I also give to my well beloved daughter Sarah one horse & one cow. I also give to my well beloved daughter Anne one horse & one cow Likewise I give & bequeath to Margret my well beloved wife all my other moveable ef[f]ects debts, & house holds goods. Likewise my wi[s]h is that my well beloved wife Margret have the use of all my estate, real or personal till my children are of age. Likewise my will is that the horses abov[e] willed to my daughters Sarah & Anna shall be of the value of five good cows each of them. And I do hereby utterly disallow & disan[n]ul all and every other Testament, wills, & executors by me in any will before named ratifying & confirming this my last will & testa.
