Will of Elizabeth Sluder

Devised March 15, 1818.
Proven November Term, 1818.

In the name of God amen I Elizabeth Sluder of Rowan County and State of North 
Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memmory blessed be God do this 
fifteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and 
eighteen make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following 
that is to say.
First, I give and bequeath to my Son Isaac Sluder all my Lands and Tennements on 
condition he pay to my other children and grand children hereafter to be neamed 
the whole amount of money I payed to redeem the sd. Land after  it  was sold for 
the direct tax with intrust thereon and it is my will and desire that all my 
goods and chattles except my wearing clothes be sold at publick vendue on a 
reasonable credit and the moneys arising from sd. sail together with the money 
that my Sun Isaack Sluder is to pay as above stated also all my wearing cloths be 
all divided into four equal shears one forth of which I give to my daughter Mary 
McCrerey one forth to Nancy Wilson one forth to Betsy Brookshear and the 
remaining forth part to be equally divided amungst the Children of my Decd. 
daughter Charity McCrerey – and I hereby make and ordain my Sun Isaack Sluder 
Executor of this my last will and testament in witness where of I the sd. 
Elizabeth Sluder have to this last will and testament set my hand and seal the 
day and year above written.
Signed sealed published and declared
by the sd. Elizabeth Sluder the testatrix		
as her last will and testament in the
presence of us who were present at
the time of Signing and Sealing thereof

Crump recorded and Registered in Book G page 527.
