AMOS WALL CEMETERY - Rutherford County, NC - Cemeteries AMOS WALL CEMETERY Rutherford County, NC The Amos Wall Cemetery is located in a dense pine forest some 2 miles northwest of the Walls Baptist Church and about a mile northeast of the old Matt Brooks homeplace in the Corinth Church Community. It is accessible only by foot, and is difficult to locate due to dense forest and undergrowth. It is adjacent to an old abandoned road bed and near the old Amos Wall homeplace. Apparently there areonly two graves in the cemetery which has long been completly abandoned. There is only one marker, but with two footstones. Headstone reads as follows: Wall, Amos & Wife April 15, 1766 c1855 Aged 89 years Amos Wall gave the land for the Walls Church.
