Compiled by Bill Floyd (wdfloyd@rfci.net) Copyright, 1997 W.D. Floyd SPARKS CEMETERY By W. D. Floyd To get to this cemetery go north from Ellenboro, NC on Hollis Road about a mile and a half and as you are coming to the bottom of the hill you will see a road turning off to the left. This is Philadelphia Church Road. Go about a half mile and you will find a driveway to the right that goes to a house several hundred feet off the road and an old barn off to the right side of the house. The cemetery is several hundred feet on beyond the barn on top of the hill. This was a nice little cemetery with a wrought iron fence around it but it is all grown over now. I was there October 13, 1997. Sparks, Martha December 18, 1881 September 10, 1882 d/o HAS Sparks, Mary Ida August 19, 1876 October 2, 1876 Sparks, L. M.
