                              STEWART CEMETERY

                           RUTHERFORD COUNTY, NC

     This is a two grave cemetery located in the Washburn’s Store
     Community. To get to this cemetery from Forest City, NC take East
     Main St. east and when you cross the river bridge turn north on
     the next road which will be the Bostic/Sunshine Road. Follow this
     road throught the town of Bostic, NC and when you get to the
     Washburn Store intersection turn west and go about a half mile to
     the first road back to the north. This will be the Joe Bostic
     Road. Travel this road two or three tenths of a mile and find a
     dirt road to the west and follow it about 700 feet and find the
     cemetery enclosed in a rock wall on the north side of the road. I
     was there December 28, 1997.

     Both of these names were on the single large marker so I assume
     that they were man and wife even if there is a 26 year age
     difference.
