Personally and made Oath that he was acquainted with William McIntire who he knew to sell to Henry Cooper of said county all his Bounty in Land and pay Due the said McIntire for his Servis (from the United States)and further said Deponent Saith that he knew the afore- said Wm McIntire was son of Alexander McIntire and Jane, his wife, born in wed- lock and that he had been acquainted with the wife of the said Alexr. McIntire mother of the said Wm McIntire from his infancy and that the said Jane, wife of Alexr. McIntire came to Col. Walkers a few days after the Battle Kings Mountain and acknowledged the aforesaid Will McIntire to be her son. Sworn before me this 1 Day of October 1791. Test David Mitchell J.P. Jno.
