   -- At a public meeting of the citizens of Rutherford County, held at the 
Court House on Friday, the 6th inst., for the purpose of appointing Delegates 
to attend the Railroad Convention on the 4th of July, at Knoxville, Tenn., as 
represenatatives of Rutherford County, JOSEPH McD. CARSON; T. F. BUCHETT, 
EDMUND BRYAN, ARCHILLES DURHAM, and JOHN McDOWELL were appointed.
