CARRIE HARRILL WILSON

THE TIDEWATER NEWS – 12-14-1961, SECT. 2, P. 3

   Mrs. Carrie Harrill Wilson, 87, died in a Franklin hospital Friday 
afternoon after long illness.

   She was the widow of William Smith Wilson and a daughter of Robert M. and 
Mrs. Catherine Suttle Harrill of Forest City, N.C.  She came here four years 
ago from Asheville, N.C.

   She was a member of All Souls Episcopal Church in Baltimore, N.C.

   Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Lillian H. Gatling of Franklin.

   The body will be taken today from W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home to 
Morris-Hendon-Black Funeral Home in Asheville. A funeral service was conducted 
in All Souls Episcopal Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. C.A. Zabriski. 
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery there.

   The body was in the church at 1:30.  The family asks that flowers be 
omitted.
