NC Spectator & Western Advertiser April 2, 1831
Married in this county, on Sandy Run, on the 18th ult. by R. Harrill, Esq.
Mr. John Dye to Miss Aily Hill; all of this county.

Additional Comments:
John & Aily resided in Rutherford Co, NC until ca 1847 when they removed to 
McMinn Co, TN.  He was the son of Henry & Anna Dye who came to Rutherford Co, 
NC from Chester Co, SC. John was previously married. Children of John Dye
Sarah,Whitson,David, Susannah, Juda, Unknown from his 1st unknown wife,
With Aily, Alfred Burton, Obediah, Zachariah, John Jr, Jeremiah, Perry G, & 
Catherine Jane. The older Children remained in the area of Rutherford that 
became Cleveland Co, NC. Aily's Children removed to TN. Aily's parents are 
unknown.
