In the name of God Amen I James Lovelace
Being of Sound mind and memory do make and publish
this my last Will and Testament in manner and form
following First I Give and Bequeath unto my Beloved
wife Sarah my entire estate Both personal and Real
During her natural life or widowhood and after her
decase or marage I Give and Bequeath to my two Daugh
ters Elizabeth and Sarah James my old tract of
land Elizabeth to have the land on the West side 
of the tract joining the Elliotts land and Luis Lovelace
Sarah to have the East side of the tract join
ing D.D. Mcswain and the land I Bought from David 
Beam the line between them to be Run so as to
Give Sarah James my Residence and as nearly 
North and Soutn as possible to make their lands
Equal in value  I Give and Bequeath unto my
Son Luis Green the Piece of land I Bought from 
Nickolas Tessoneer and the Piece of land I Bought 
from D. Beam  but I Give my son Oliver Garner
Lovelace the use and Benefit of the land Bought
from D Beam During his lifetime then to
go to my son Luis G Lovelace or his heirs
After the death of my Beloved wife ^Sarah I Give and devise
all the Rest of my Estate to be devided by sale or other-
wise so as to Render my bequeathments eaquel
among my above named children
I do Nominate and appoin my Son Luis Green
Lovelace to be the executor to this my last will
and Testament and to act as Guardian for

my son Oliver Garner to hold the part of my
Estate falling to him and only deal it out to him as
he has need as he is incapable of controling his own
affairs in testimony ^whereof I have Subscribe my name and
affixed my Seal this January 14th A.D. one thousand

M. Green.  

On 14 Aug 1893, J. F. Flack, Clerk of Superior Court, met with Lewis G. Lovelace, and with B. B. 
Byers and J. W. Walker, to probate James' will.  Probate papers signed by J. F. Flack, B. B.
