Lovelace of the County of Rutherford, State of North Carolina do make and publish this my last will and Testament. First It is my will that all my just debts and funeral expences be duly paid and satisfied by my executor herein after named. 2nd I give and devise unto my Son Jackson M Lovelace ten acres of land including the dwelling I now live in with all out buildings to have and to hold the same to the said Jackson M. Lovelace his heirs and assigns forever. 3rd I bequeath unto the heirs of my oldest daughter Roxanna Owens the sum of one dollar 4th I also bequeath unto the heirs of my dauther Sarah Lucinda wife of Rufus Daves the sum of one dollar. 5th I order my executor after my decease, to sell all my real estate, not otherwise disposed of, at public auction or otherwise to the best advantage , together with all my personal property and divide the money equally between my four sons, Jackson M. Lovelace Adam Craton Lovelace, Baxter H. Lovelace and James B. Lovelace to share and share alike And lastly, I hereby appoint Adam Craton Lovelace as my executor to execute this my last will and testament.
