Sampson County, NC - Annis Blackman - Act For Relief

An Act for the relief of Annis Blackman, of Sampson county

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, 
and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That Annis
Blackman, of Sampson county, the wife of Wyatt Blackman, shall be
able and capable in law, and she is hereby declared to be able and
capable in law, to hold to her own and separate use, any property,
either real or personal, which she may hereafter acquire, either by
purchase, devise, or descent, free and clear from any claim of her
husband, or his creditors, in the same manner as if she was a feme
sole.
