Hudson, Amy Hudson et als, heirs of James Hudson dec'd. Land Division To the worshipful the court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions of said county at Feb. Term 1857 - we the undersigned commissioners appointed by said court after being duly sworn proceeded to divide and make partition between and among Sally M. Hudson and Amy Hudson and Polly Hudson tenants in common of the lands of James Hudson deceased and have made the following appropriations: Lot No 1 is assigned to Sally M. Hudson adjacent to the fork of Goshen Swamp, Bryant Daughtry corner, a stake in the main road near the Meeting house containing 130 acres. Lot No 2 is assigned to Amy Hudson adjacent to a stake in the main road near the Meeting house, Daughtry's line, run of Goshen containing 120 acres. Lot No 3 is assigned to Polly Hudson adjacent to John Roaches corner containing 100 acres. Lot No 1 is to pay to lot No 3 the sum of $186.66. Lot No 3 is to pay to lot No 3 the sum of $60.66. All of which is most respectfully submitted under our hands and seals this the 17th of February AD 1857. D. A. Petition for Partition To the worshipful the court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions at Feb. Term 1858 - we the undersigned commissioners appointed by said court after being duly sworn proceeded on the 18th day of December 1857 to divide and make partition between and among John Hudson and Matthew Daniel and wife Nanny and Green Rainer and wife Elizabeth, Whitfield Thornton and wife Jenny and the heirs at law of Moses Cox dec'd tenants in common of the lands descended to them as children and heirs at law of James Hudson deceased whereupon we have made and do hereby make the following appropriations among the respective claimants in severally that is to say: No 1 is assigned to the heirs at law of Moses Cox adjacent to William Gregorys corner, James Tarts corner containing 67 acres valued at $142.50. No 2 is assigned to John Hudson adjacent to William Gregorys line near the graveyard, corner of lot No 1 containing 71 acres valued at $106.50. No 3 is appropriated to Green Rainer and wife Elizabeth adjacent to a stake near the graveyard, William Gregorys line, stump by the road, Tarts line containing 62 acres valued at $186.00. No 4 is appropriated to Matthew Daniel and wife Nanny adjacent to James Tarts line containing 70 acres valued at $150.00. No 5 is assigned to Whitfield Thornton and wife Jenny adjacent to the Ben Place, James Tarts line containing 80 acres and valued at $120.00. We further charge the more valuable dividends with such sums of money respectively to be paid to those of inferior value: No 1 is to pay No 2 the sum of $1.50 No 3 is to pay No 2 the sum of $33.00 No 3 is to pay No 4 the sum of $12.00 No 4 is to pay No 5 the sum of $9.00 All of which is respectfully submitted under our hands and seals this the 18th day of December 1857.
