Hudson until he is twenty one years old sd Hudson is to give sd boy six months schooling. 16 Dec 1874 State of North Carolina Sampson County Personally appeared before me D. A. Culbreth Clerk of the Superior Court of Sampson County Hardy Daughtery and maketh oath that William R. Hudson deceased late of Sampson County died five or six years ago and no administration has ever been appointed to administer the estate of said deceased so far as he has been advised or believes and the estate of the said Wm. R. Hudson is now indebted to him in the sum of about two hundred dollars. H. Daughtry Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 16th day of December AD 1874 D. A. Culbreth 16 Jan 1875 To the Judge of the Probate Court of Sampson County, I Axey J. Hudson having received a copy of the citation from Sheriff N. Barefoot relative to my administration on the estate of my deceased son William R. Hudson do hereby renounce my right to qualify as administrator on said estate. A Culbreth Probate Judge In the matter of the Administration of the estate of William R. Hudson dec'd Hardy Daughtery being sworn doth say that Wm. R. Hudson late of said county is dead without leaving any will and testament and that Hardy Daughtery is the proper person entitled to Letters of Administration on the estate of said Wm. R. Hudson. Further, that the value of said estate so far as can be ascertained at the date of this application is about $350.00 and that C. J. Hudson, Lloyd West and wife Phebe West, C. E. Hudson, George Barefoot and wife Marinda Barefoot, James H. Barnhill and wife Nancy J. Barnhill are entitled as heirs and distributees thereof.
