John Hudson Estate Papers - NC Archives

North Carolin Sampson County - To the worshipful the justices of the court 
of Pleas and Quarter Sessions May Term 1856. We David A. Bizzell justice
of the peace and Matthew Murphy, Lovard Williams and Uriah Williams in 
obedience to the order proceeded on the 11th day of March 1856 to view the
estate of John Hudson dec'd and out of the crop stock and provisions on
hand we have layed off and allotted to Darean Hudson widow household items,
crops, livestock, farming equipment. Submitted 11 March 1856.

John Hudson's property sale was held by Benajah Hudson Administrator.
Some of the buyers were: Widow, Jordan Coats, Josiah Hudson, S. Hudson, 
Wm. R. Hudson.

Heirs at law of John Hudson dec'd, Ex Parte
Petition for Partition - Prayer of Petition granted. Ordered by the Court
that Robinson C. Lee, Handy H. West, Matthew Murphy, W. C. Dudley and George
H. Daughtery be appointed Commission to divide said land and report to the
next term of this court.

February Term 1858
Josiah Hudson, Spicey Ann Hudson, Nancy Ann Hudson by David A. Bizzell Gdn
Heirs at law of John Hudson.
Petition for Account and Settlement - Prayer of Petition granted. Ordered
that R. C. Lee, Noel West be appointed to audit and settle the accounts of
Benajah Hudson Adm'r of John Hudson dec'd and report to the next term of
this court.

May Term 1858
Josiah Hudson, Spicey Hudson and others heirs at law of John Hudson dec'd.
Petition for Partition - Report returned confirmed and ordered to be 
registered. Judgment accordingly and guardian to pay cost out of the fund.

Hudson - Petition to Account and settlement - Report filed and comfirmed.
