King & John B. King Exor's of Edmund King dec'd vs John Boyett Writ of Procedendo State of North Carolina To the Justices, Clerk and other officers of the Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions of the county of Sampson Whereas lately in our Superior Court of Law an issue of devisavit vel non came on to be tried in the matter of the last will and testament of Edmund King dec'd and a verdict and judgment thereupon were had and rendered in form of the propounders of the said will and testament to wit Robert T. King and John B. King. Agreeably to said judgment of said court we do hereby certify the same to your worships and you are hereby commanded forth with to proceed to qualify the said propounders or either of them as executors to the said last will and testament and to cause the same to be recorded in the book of wills. The said last will and testament is attached and sent to the County Court. Witness J. K. Morisey Clerk of our said Superior Court of Law at office in Clinton the sixth Monday after 4th Monday of September AD 1862. Issued the 17th day of February AD 1863. J. K. Morisey -------------------- State of North Carolina, Sampson County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions Feb Term 1863 In pursuance of a Writ Cirtiorari and procedendo issuing from the Office of the Superior Court of Law of Sampson County it is ordered that the last will and testament of Edmund King accompanying said Writ be recorded in the Book of Wills and that Robert T. King be qualified as Executor of the said will and have letters testamentary issued to him. Said Executor was thereupon qualified. From the Minutes W. C.
