Mrs Salley King and Nathan King came into court and was duly qualified as administratrix and admin'r to the above dec'd estate. Ordered that John Fellow, James Marley, Jethro Oates and Joseph Darden be a committee to lay and set apart one year's provision for Mrs. Salley King widow of Michael King dec'd and report their proceedings to next court. Ordered that Sarah King be appointed guardian of her children Susan, Bryan and Edmund ad litum. Wm Blackman and wife and others against the heirs of Mich'l King dec'd. 19 Aug 1811 John Fellow returned into court a report of one year's provision laid off and set apart for Mrs Salley King widow of Michael King dec'd. Report filed. Wm King retured into court an inventory and a/c sale of the estate of Michael King dec'd which was filed. 18 Nov 1811 Ordered that the Sheriff convene a jury of good and lawful men unconnected with the parties to lay off a dower of land to Sally King widow of Michael King dec'd and report to next court. Prayer of Wm Blackman is granted ordered that Jethro Oates, James Manly, James Moore, Joseph Darden and Wm Tuton be a committee to divide the lands of Michael King dec'd which he died seized and possessed of among his lawful representatives, and that Benj'n Phillips be surveyor and report their proceedings to next court. 17 Feb 1812 Benj'n Philips retturned into court a report of division of the lands of Michael King dec'd among his lawful representatives. Ordered that the said surveyor be allowed the sum of twenty dollars for his services 10 days and in dividing said lands.
