Indenture made July 19, 1847 between David Carroll of the one part and Oates S 
Lewis and Jethro Oates of the other part all of Sampson, for $1000 land in 
Sampson on the south side of Stag Branch adjacent to Cow Marsh Branch 
containing 418 acres.
Witnesses; Henry D Lewis and Thos Ashford
