Indenture made Feb'y 26 1857 between Benjamin Hargrove of Sampson of the one 
part and James R Lewis John L Clifton, John Boyett and Henry D Lewis 
Trustees of the other part of the Religious Society of Disciples of Christ, 
for love and affection I bear toward that denomination land in Sampson 
adjacent to the fork in the old road near the School house containing 2 
acres.
Witnesses: Henry J Clifton and H B Giddens
