HUGGINS to WILLIAM MANLEY North Carolina Sampson County This Deed made this 15th day of November 1904 between Elizabeth A. Huggins of Sampson County State of North Carolina party of the first part and William Manley of the County of the second part, Witnesseth: That the said Elizabeth A. Huggins party of the first art, in consideration of the sum of Six Hundred and Fifty ($650.00) Dollars to her paid by the party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged has bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain, sell and convey to the said William Manley and his heirs, a certain tract or parcel of land in Samson County North Carolina adjoining the lands of G. A. Casey, the Faison lands and others, bounded and described as follows: Beginning on the run of Goshen Swamp just below Kornegay's bridge and runs N 12 E 22.75 chains found to be 25 chains to a stake Casey's corner, thence his line N 40 W 55.25 chains to a stake a new corner thence new line S 21 W about 45 chains to the run of Goshen Swamp thence down the meanders of said run to the beginning containing one hundred acres more or less. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to the said William Manley his heirs and assigns to heir only use and behoof forever. And the said Elizabeth A. Huggins party of the first part on the part of herself, her heirs executors and administrators covenant to & with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that she is seized of said premises in fee and has a right to convey the same in fee simple and that she will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.In testimony whereof the said Elizabeth A. Huggins party of the first part has hereunto set her hand and seal. This 15 day of November 1904 Elizabeth A.
